Our lemonades taste ridiculously good, because they are brewed using our recipe for characterful flavour. In taste tests people tell us we’re the best lemonade, which is very kind, but no accident.
In The Beginning...
The original GUNNA flavour is Ginger Rebel, inspired by a British Navy drink called ‘Gunners’, a curious mix of ginger beer, Angostura bitters & lime.
The characterful taste of Gunners got us wondering why ‘old school’ fizzy drinks tasted so boring. The world is full of flavour, but everyday lemonade was dull, so we created a range of deliciously characterful lemonades as an alternative.

Use The Real Stuff
People are often surprised at how ‘real’ GUNNA tastes and ask how we do it. Simple… a raspberry lemonade containing raspberries will taste of… um, raspberries? The juicy, ripe, rounded ones in our case.
By contrast ‘old school’ lemonades skip the lemons and add weird things you’ve never heard of. Yes, some soda companies actually make 100% lemon-less lemonade! Good for profits, bad for taste buds!
Give It Character
Each GUNNA flavour is a tongue dance of sweet, sour, spicy & bitter notes, created by blending 2 or more fruits with flavours like ginger, coconut or bitters. It is these combinations that make our drinks taste so different (the good kind of different).
Use Expert Taste Buds
We embrace failure! Because only by failing do we finally nail the GUNNA recipes. We get there with the help of ‘super tasters’ who identify the fine detail in a drink (like a sommelier) and tell us what to improve.
Taste Tests
Each year we ask 100s of people to put on a blindfold and score our drinks out of 10. We also ask them to score our competition. So far no one has beaten GUNNA in these independent blind taste tests and we are pretty damn proud of this. But we aren’t ones to boast, did we mention they taste good?
